This course is based on Apnea Academy standards (and is eligible for a certification card upon completion).
The goal of this course is for you to progress from the level 1 and become a correct freediver in all aspects of the practice, physically, mentally and technically.
The minimum amount of time for this course is 5 theory lessons, 5 breathing / relaxation / eustachian exercises lessons, 16 hours of pool training and 8 hours of open water training.
To pass this course, you need to perform a static apnea of 2:30, a DYN (bifins) of 55m, a DNF of 35m, a DYN (bifins) of 15m at -5m, a victim recovery from -8m and a CWT (bifins) of -15m.
We will discover muscle anatomy and energy production, a biochemical analysis of movement in water, emergency planning and victim recovery, training programs and the history of competitive freediving, more advanced breathing and relaxation techniques as well as total body relaxation and pranayama, stress and how to deal with it, tubular exercises, partial exhale apnea and object recovery and finally applying all this to the open water environment.
