I am Sabrina, owner of La Casa Surya, Freediving and Yoga School in Tulum. I am a Molchanovs instructor and a Yoga Medecine teacher.

I would love to share my passion with you, and bring all the benefits of yoga to your freediving training. I have a hollistic approach, and will work with you on the right exercises on body and mind to get the best of your freediving potential and your life in general.

About the Center

We are offering the best facilities in Tulum for you to learn freediving in the best conditions (private pool for your static; classroom; yoga studio). We aim at keeping our group small (2-3 max) allowing us to offer maximum attention and enjoyment. We will provide pictures and video for you to get memories of your experience.

About Your Molchanovs Wave 1 course

You learn the basics of freediving and discover your natural freediving ability. You are taught to learn techniques to hold your breath beyond a minute and a half and to do breath-hold dives with and without fins. Topics include physics and physiology of freediving, an introduction to freediving equalization, relaxation and breathing techniques, and rescue and safety procedures. If you are taking the Wave 1 course, you are also taught to freedive to a depth of 12-20 meters (40-66 feet) in open water.

  • 30m diving horizontally in the pool
